The CSRO in conjunction with Scirex, a leading clinical research organization (CRO), is working to give CSRO members more opportunities for in office drug research. The partnership with Scirex allows CSRO members that have shown interest the first chance on new studies that Scirex is awarded.
How this works; if your practice is interested please send the information below to info@csro.info, when Scirex is awarded a study they will first contact the practices CSRO has provided to determine if they are a match. If there is a match; Scirex will offer the practice a contract to handle the research. The practice negotiates the contract as they would with any other study. There is no guarantee that your practice will be chosen and by providing your information your practice is not required to complete any studies presented. This exciting benefit does allow your practice to be on the “short list” when a leading CRO is awarded a study giving you more access to rewarding drug research.
The second part to this partnership is that Scirex at times may need clinical expertise when reviewing a contract. In this case they will contact a CSRO physician to help them; this help could be in study design to maximize patients and validity of data or for one of many other reasons. If you have an interest or expanded knowledge of a specific therapeutic area or have any special expertise in drug research please include that information as well. Again this will be handled as above with Scirex contacting you and negotiating a consulting rate.
